I need a dual sim phone as well. Even though I don't go back to the states much it's a pain in the dick to have two phones laying around.

not a lot but seems would be a good thing to have as a back-up or primary phone, in general (combining work and personal phone, travelling overseas, etc). And it's not like they cost a fortune or anything ...
The thing is, dual-SIM-ers seem to available mostly from more exotic brands and not the usual suspects like iPhone, Samsung, Nokia, HTC, etc.
