I would like a decent running back. Someone offered me a trade which I didn't think was in my best interest.

I'd rather do a 1 for 1. But will make the deal as it was if a decent RB is put in place of that TE that was offered.
well, I already got 1 great TE (Graham) and 1 really good as a back-up (Bennett). So, I am not really looking to go all in to upgrade my back-up TE considering Graham is my sure starter, one way or the other.
RBs I may be willing to let go off are Shane Vereen and Pierre Thomas, maybe also Fred Jackson but gotta think about that one. See if any of those tickle your fancy. Can include my back up TE (Bennet) as a carry on too :p

haha, you weasel - you loaded up on all decent QBs left to try and force people's hand.

I'd say your WR corpse and RB depth could you use a face-lift or two.
I was on auto-draft the entire time so it was not be choice or design

But yes, I do need to enhance my RB position therefore the surplus of QBs might be a blessing in disguise if there are to trade embargos

I see, you weren't being smart by design :p

Only players you have I would be willing to trade for are Brees or Peterson. You game?

you looking for players in those same positions? I may be interested in Jones/Johnson and Martin, if the price is right (hint: there was a reason why I jumped over those guys in the draft).
Julio/Martin and AJ will take a big trade. But for the others I'm willing to do a combination of either Andre and Welker or Martin and Welker for an upgrade at rb or wr.

I'm not desperate to make a trade by any means though.

I don't really want another tight end. Since you have Graham, I doubt you're going to want to give up much for backup. I was hoping to get a deal with someone who could use Davis in his starting lineup and maybe trade me a RB who could challenge for my flex spot.

yeah, I figured that may have been the case all along. You don't want a back-up TE at all on your roster?
best I can do Davis-wise right now is TE Bennett + say RB Vereen. Keep it in mind and good luck with your trade.

I am Pats Island in the league.

I don't have many big names on the roster as I tried to build in depth for the long haul and not necessarily go for names. So, the few elite players I have at their respective positions, I am not willing to part with at this point in time. Also, I have a lot of durability concerns regarding the players I am interested in - Jones, Johnson and Martin - on top of being part of new Offensive systems and such. Those were a big reason why I skipped them in the draft to begin with. So, while I am interested, I am not willing to part with any star players or certain up-and-comers from whom I expect a lot, currently on my team.
Generally, I consider trade-able everyone on my bench including potentially WR Cruz and WR Allen (this last one is iffy) from the starters. I don't imagine you'd care for any of my QBs anyway. The rest, I don't think I'd be upgrading on in this trade. See if any player or combination of players from those mentioned above may interest you and let me know.

I will pick up a backup when I need one. I'm a risk taker. lol. Thomas has a bye week in week 4, so if i dont have Davis at that point then I will pick someone up and use him for a week. :)

I can't use Vereen, I already have a Pats running back and the Patriots running game has rarely produced strong, consistent fantasy players.

For anyone interested in Davis, I can package him with any receiver except Johnson and Green if the deal is good. I'm not looking for too much.
