I'd give them credit if I thought they were good, but I don't. It isn't about sour grapes. Even if it was, all the "hate" would be directed towards the rules, which it has been. But from watching each games against us, I was least impressed by Chicago. And from tonight I'm still not impressed.

So the 49ers have fired OC Jimmy Raye, and promoted QB coach Mike Johnson. That's now 8 OC's in 8 seasons... and zero trips to the playoffs.
Well, maybe this guy will ACTUALLY turn to Page 2 of the playbook, instead of Gore up the middle, Gore up the middle, Screen Pass, Punt.

Singletary and Smith are still the problems, though.

Yea Alex has to go
The coach needs to go, too.

This isn't the 1950's anymore.

Dear Michael Vick,

I know that you are a free agent next year.

FYI, there is a 49er jersey with a #7 waiting for you. Granted, Nate Davis currently owns that jersey, but he'll be gone in a month.

Jon Gruden or Jim Harbaugh, there is a coaching headset with your names on it.

Roughing the passer while Cutler still has the ball in his hand? And it takes away an interception which would have put the game away. That was on fucked up call.

OK, I watched the flock of waa waas, but still don't understand why in American football it is illegal to hit the guy who has the ball. But then again, I'm still wondering why Calvin Johnson catches towndown passes that don't count.

18 Green Bay penalties make a defense look good. Chicago did not beat Green Bay. Green Bay beat Green Bay. And when they play in Lambeau, the Pack will win by 30.

i ll take that thank you very much, and i love how last night's loss hurt the pack, though i still love you

you get a pass for being a lions fan :p

:D

The players seem to like Johnson... of course, they basically have to say that, but fingers crossed. Raye was certainly out of touch with his play calling, no doubt about that.

I agree about Smith, as you know.

I'm not ready to throw Singletary under the bus yet. I'll give him the rest of the season... I like his character, and I think the guy is a good motivator. Sometimes that rough style works initially though, before becoming a little much... definitely seen it before. Unfortunately, he has looked a little out of his depth at times... a bit lost. He definitely needs a strong OC, who will completely run the show.

We definitely need to use our weapons to stretch the field... but to do that, we're going to need the O-Line to play well. I didn't see this weeks game (other than about 6 minutes of the 1st quarter, on a shitty stream), but by all accounts the line was pretty terrible.

The coach needs to go, too.

Vick is an amazing athlete. Considering they gave him a massive opportunity, that the team has quality pieces, a good coach, and that Philly is a great sports town, I can't see him going anywhere. They'll pay that man his money.

A couple good coaches there. Bill Cowher is milling around a TV studio too, right? Any chance of that guy getting back in the saddle?

Know why the offensive line looked so bad?

Because the Chiefs defense knew the plays, that's why. They were calling out what the plays were going to be as soon as the 49ers lined up, and they were right most of the time. Its not hard to defend, run up the middle, run up the middle, screen pass. It was even on Fox sports.com that the Chiefs knew what the 49ers were going to run.

As for Vick, the moment he fucks up, Philly fans will make it hell for him.

I still want Andrew Luck and Jim harbaugh in San Francisco next year.

And I'm done with Singletary. Motivators only get you so far. Do you think Belichick is a great motivator? Guess what. He is a great motivator, especially as I listen to Tom Brady every monday morning in Boston, as well as a fantastic coach. I'll take that any day over a coach who wears a 3 foot cross on his neck every sunday.

The penalties hurt but Jones was stripped fair and square by Urlacher.

Another thing is that it seems people have crowned Rodgers as the new greatest QB of all time. I think the guy is really good but can we tap the breaks on the high praise? At least wait til the guy wins a playoff game

Luck won't leave early Sergio. More likely to get Mallet or the Hurt Locker.
