Know why the offensive line looked so bad?

Because the Chiefs defense knew the plays, that's why. They were calling out what the plays were going to be as soon as the 49ers lined up, and they were right most of the time. Its not hard to defend, run up the middle, run up the middle, screen pass. It was even on Fox sports.com that the Chiefs knew what the 49ers were going to run.

As for Vick, the moment he fucks up, Philly fans will make it hell for him.

I still want Andrew Luck and Jim harbaugh in San Francisco next year.

And I'm done with Singletary. Motivators only get you so far. Do you think Belichick is a great motivator? Guess what. He is a great motivator, especially as I listen to Tom Brady every monday morning in Boston, as well as a fantastic coach. I'll take that any day over a coach who wears a 3 foot cross on his neck every sunday.
Well like I said, I didn't watch the game this weekend. I'm sure you're right about the predictable play calling, buddy - that would be no surprise. Still, we had one of the absolute worst lines in the league last year, and we're starting 2 rookies, so a little here, a little there.

Philly fans are loving Vick right now, and sure, they'll let a player hear it... but I think they're also smart enough to know that Vick offers them much more than Kolb does, or will.

The 3 foot cross reference is funny for me; in my pool, one of my buddies was commenting on it, and wondering if Sing would convert to Islam if we lost to the Chiefs to start 0-3. In his press conference explaining Raye's firing, Singletary actually wasn't wearing the cross... I can't remember ever seeing him without it while talking to the press. Anyway, Brown is convinced he's converted. :D

Belichick is obviously great; I understand your concerns about our coach's ability. I don't deny it, but he's also only had a year, and the team made some good progress last season. The players like him. We can't change coaches every year, so I feel like he deserves this season. Again, if things don't go well, I'm certainly open to change (especially if we bring in a coach with some pedigree).

He can't be anywhere near as involved with the offensive game plan as he apparently has been (Fairly obvious, but also according to Raye, on NFL.com today).

At this point, I wouldn't be particularly enthused about handing the job over to a guy with no NFL head coaching experience. I don't know much about Luck. Looks like I may need to brush up on my college quarterbacks, in preparation for next years draft.

i ll take that thank you very much, and i love how last night's loss hurt the pack, though i still love you
It did hurt. Even though Minnesota passed Chicago as our main rival over a decade ago, it still stings to lose to a fierce rival. However, no matter how many classic, down to the wire Packers-Bears games we see, there will still be a legion of fans who will still be pissing about Brett Favre.

What a weird day in the NFL

Glad my Giants put the hurting on the Bears. 9 sacks and 2 QBs knocked out of the game.

The Ravens had the biggest win of the day
