ACC is probably better than the Pac 10 but it's still a poor man's SEC or Big 12.
Word to that, but I think its gonna be at least 2 years until the ACC becomes the power house that people expected it to be when UM, VT & BC joined it. In the meantime there will be programs like butch davis' UNC on the rise and FSU's eminent downfall once fat bowden kicks the can.

I think once Jimbo Fischer takes over, FSU will right the ship. Granted they aren't in too much trouble for the academic fraud thing. Also I think the ACC might have screwed itself. It has too many up and comers recruiting in the same market, with Florida and the Big East competing for those players not everyone can win out.

but don't you think jimbo has been doing most of the play calling the past 2 seasons? it rather obvious that bowden is kept for recruiting purposes, etc..

when it comes to signal calling the guy is useless on the sidelines. they have no disciplinary control over their players. i really hope they bite the bullet and we see the downfall of the most successful program of the 90's.

its all about "The U"

I don't see Miami scoring touchdowns left and right either. But Im not really a fan of each. What's with the other U stealing all the players?

Well even though all of this went down last week its fair to say that the rankings are somewhat accurate.

Total commits: 32

2. Notre Dame
Star: QB Dayne Crist
Total commits: 23

3. Florida

Total commits: 22

4. Miami
Star: DT Marcus Forston
Total commits: 33

5. Oklahoma
Star: DE R.J. Washington
Total commits: 21

6. Georgia
Star: WR A.J. Green
Total commits: 24

7. USC

Total commits: 30

9. OSU

No doubt, they were worse for you that Rix was at FSU.

I hope he goes to Ohio State and gets injured

Dude I would love to see that program suffer for a few years but he is touted as the best overall recruit of all time and his announcement to where he signs is the most anticipated of any recruit ever.

CSTV says that he is a cross between vince young and jevon kearse.

Pryor said that he wont declare until his H.S. basketball season is over.

@ enron:

well 1/2 of your wish has come true, lets hope he pays for his dumb decision. just by committing to that yeast infection of a program, it merits the title of "waste of talent"

Whoa whoa, bro. I hate OSU as much as the next man, but you have to give them credit for: A) Not cheating and B) playing well and winning championships.

Ohio State is the Duke of football, they receive more hate for nothing than any other team in the land.

maybe so but you can't say that either school receives totally unwarranted hate. neither school is as successful as notre dame/usc/nebraska (CFB) or UCLA (CBB)

Yea, but Notre Dame and Nebraska suck, and UCLA won all their shit in the 60's, 70's, and 80's.
Yeah but Duke one all their titles in the 90s and OSU mostly in the 70's (and some recent success). We don't hate OSU because they're are good, well at least I don't. I hate them because they are from Ohio and the play in the Big 5. Because after Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Illinois, and Purdue... none of the rest of the schools count. If they went 0-13 every year, I would still hate them.
