I'm not sure if Virginia Tech was or not. GT wasn't bad either.
GT was the top team. They were like #15 or so by the end of the year. They only had 3 losses. (Tech had 4) Yet they didn't even play for the ACC championship.

My point is that ACC teams are so inconsistent that even Wake Forest can take the championship. You put WVU, South Florida, and Cinci in the ACC and they have as good a shot as anyone.

Speaking of South Florida I think they are going to be really good this season.

I think both VT and GT were better than Cinci. At least one of them showed it in the bowl games.

But I do find it strange there was no standout in the conference yet some of their teams had high standings season's end.
