Amauri and Del Piero will score at least 30 goals this season (around 15 each).
You can quote this post and hunt me down at the end of the season if I'm proven wrong.

But I won't be.

Oh, and if he stays, Diego will also score around 10 goals and make even more assists.

Trezeguet will also score around 10 if he avoids some injuries.

Our attack is more than decent right now and we can expect MANY goals this year if we get winger. If we get Dzeko *(we won't) and no winger we'll suck.

Benzema

2004–2009 Lyon 112 apps (43 goals)

2009- Real Madrid 27 apps (8 goals)

Amauri

2003–2006 Chievo 89 apps (17 goals)
2006–2008 Palermo 52 apps (23 goals)
2008–Juventus 62 apps (17 goals)

Yeah I'll take amauri plus he knows how to play as the lone striker , not so sure bout benzema.
2004? You do know that Benzema was 16 at that point?

Oh lets not kid ourselves.

Benzema is much better player than Amauri and three times better than Iaquinta. But lets come back to reality - he's not coming. And Amauri will do fine this season, there is really no need to sell the guy.
Pretty much. That, plus we can't afford his wages anyway.

Amauri:

"Without doubt, my debut match was a fantastic moment. I have been thinking about it for the past two days while training with my team-mates. Other than the result, we played a good match, running a lot. We created many chances, and all that was lacking was the goal.

They [Ivory Coast] only had one shot on goal, and a header, which they scored from.

From what I saw, there is a lot of willingness and enthusiasm to do well. As [coach Cesare] Prandelli said, we will need to make sacrifices in order to improve.

I play for a top national team and want to play again for Italy. I will do my utmost to work hard and hopefully I will get another opportunity. I hope to play again with [Antonio] Cassano and [Mario] Balotelli, as they are two fantastic footballers.

So I just watched the TIM match vs Milan and this guy is probably the worst striker to wear this jersey. Honestly...How many FUCKING chances does he need to score a goal?

 @ all those who praised him after his first 2 goals as a great striker...you fools.

5,6 on average. While that estimate raises to 7-8 if he's having a bad hair-day.
