What exactly about his envioronment has disintegrated his ability to score a goal? It seems strange that Trez can score, DP can score from one shot on goal, IQ can bang goals away...but when it comes to Amauri not being able to score since last spring which you seem to be forgetting was including last years team, Martin. You aren't making much sense. He did well until the second half of last season...so which team then are you plying as his excuse to why he can't score?
Glad you asked. The wrong training. The lack of training. The wrong mental preparation. A lack of mental preparation.
Scoring is a motor skill. And it's something you have to do under pressure. Above all it's a question of being in a mental state where it all comes together just when you need to. A striker who's having a dry streak is nothing new, it happens all the time. The longer it goes on, the more he feels under pressure, the harder it is to get out of.
Apparently you and I have very different preconceptions about physiology and learning, because I don't believe that Amauri has "lost" his ability to score as it were, perished. No, he still has the motor skills necessary, but he's not "putting the pieces together" correctly, his head is messed up.
