Not to single you two out, but this sort of commentary is just so tedious and downright stupid at this point in light of the circumstances as we know them.

Has it ever crossed your minds that maybe, just maybe, a guy who's gotten a once in a lifetime chance to play for a club like Juventus and subsequently been branded a failure might want some sort of redemption?

Fucking off to Turkey or France, or wherever, when you think (rightly or wrongly) that you could do better at the club you actually want to play for would be galling.

Fact is, it's not about the money for him. He turned down the same wages in addition to European games to stay.

He's on the heels of a very productive half-season at Parma. Do you really think his plan the whole time was to come back just to sit in the stands and collect a cheque weekly? For what purpose? Just to piss people off? Be serious.

To me, it seems like he's got a point to prove and thinks he can play his way back into the team.
do you really think there is a place for amauri in the team, when we have matri, vucinic, quag and del piero (and toni and iq) ?
and even if you think so, he is not in juves plans. do you think it was a coincedence that marotta told the media, that there where offers for amauri, if not to put more pressure on him.

when a person is not wanted the normal thing to do is move on, but some people become stakers or insist on staying (for whatever reason) like amauri.

The same signal that has been sent with Grosso twice being reintegrated into the squad after refusing the leave?

It's not something that is easy to get, but the Juve managemant lacks authority at the moment.

i know, i hate the fact that grosso is back again! its not right

i hate amauri more though, bc the fokker makes 4,2m a year.

None of the strikers we have are guarantees. That much should be obvious. As for being in plans? Grosso, last season. Enough said.

Yeah, Amauri is a "stalker." Okay. Good answer.

You're forgetting that Amauri used to do that on the regular back at Palermo. He had excellent touch for a big CF.
No one's forgetting anything. Even on his back heel scoring form of his life he wont score more than 3 lucky goals a season,in his best season. Putting Iaq's and amauri's "what they used to do" highlights reel i would pick 11m Iaq's long range or edge of the box shooting to 22m amauri's back heels or lucky goals.

Why the sudden love for amauri btw? :p

staticstics speaks for itself. 71 matches 17 goals for juve. he has atleast 4 strikers ahead of him, and most likely he is our 7 choice, so good luck to him getting any games this year.

amauri guarantees the least goals of all our forwards, that much should be obvious.

What about Del Piero? I recall him not scoring a single goal from open play for a whole season after he recovered from his horrific injury but we put faith in him and it paid off. And yes, I would have kept Sissoko, as he is miles ahead of Pazienza. At least as a sub.
Del Piero is a world-class striker. The talent he has is extraordinary which definitely helped the process of recovering to full former.

I rather have neither Pazienza or Sissoko. I rather we kept Marchisio and Marrone or Giandonato to sub in for the CM positions.

Great seasons? Amauri scored 14 goals in his first season for us before being injured, Quagliarella scored 9.
9 goals in half of a season.

If that's his reason or not, it doesn't mean he's good enough to play for us.

Vucinic, Quagliarella, Matri and Del Piero are lightyears ahead of Amauri right now, he won't get any playing time unless he gets lucky and injuries start to occur. He has nothing to prove, he won't get the chance to prove it. He's going to rot on the bench. He should of took the spots in France and in Turkey.

lol nah no special love. I just don't think he's that bad and think he would make an okay back up. Personally I can't stand members on here scapegoating players and simultaneously praising managers of the club when its their fault that all our good signings go to waste here because they interrupt and mismanage the club and its players.

9 goals in half of a season.
Amauri also pretty much scored all his goals in the first half of his season. Its becoming a trend that players at Juventus play so well in their first few months at the club and later drop off. So there must be a problem with the club not the players.

Right now? Then we look at his form at Parma. That's right now. That form is more than comparable to anyone we have.

he won't get any playing time unless he gets lucky and injuries start to occur.
We'll see, right?

He has nothing to prove, he won't get the chance to prove it.
Whether he gets the chance or not doesn't reflect on his having something to prove.

He's going to rot on the bench. He should of took the spots in France and in Turkey.
We'll see. Our record-breaking injury count for three seasons running might have some say. Vucinic and Quagliarella being finicky for form might also. Del Piero being 88-years-old too. Iaquinta having the muscles of a geriatric, well, you know...

Matri and Toni are his competition, I think.

Man, I don't believe that. Okay if a player's stats drop a bit but to not be able to score a single goal in almost 2 seasons shouldn't be blamed on the club. A good player should score no matter what. Del Piero is almost 37 now, and he's still able to bag in several goals.

Right, was. :p

It would be silly not to take into account how injured he has been. How many games did he play without scoring is a more fair approach. Del Piero is one of the greatest strikers of all time.
