DP when he joint juve was nothing except promissing younester
So what? one in every thousand youngsters end up like Del piero, maybe even less, that's why he's Del piero. The rest are loaded off to midtable clubs where they would get first team play. Rocchi is an example. Just because a player is young, that doesn't mean he's going to be the next Zidane FFS. Get this gay mentality out of your head. It just doesn't work this way dude.

It's quality that brings you success, not age. If a 28 year old can offer more to the club that an 18 year old, I would get the former and vice versa. I'm not saying I'm against buying young players, I just think quality should come before age.

I'm also still of mixed givings concerning him - I think the cost is a lot for a person who wont be our primary striker. I know its good for depth but it just sux imo that he might not be a regular for these amounts and ends up like our Suazo. Hopefully he turns out like Toni or somethin. I just hopes this doesnt mean IQ will leave

good point but God forbid, if any of our starting FWs getting injured, he is a very good player to bring into the starting lineup...and if a team wants to compete at the highest levels, it must have bench strength

but, juventus are acting in the forword position like we already have a good squad, which we DONT.
we still need to strengh heavily our defence, and get immediatly someone to replace tiago's place(alonso?), and we also need someone to the left wing position...we dont got anyone who deserve to replace nedved AT THIS STAGE.
