Why do all the new members want Chiellini at LB ?
Is he not as good CB as this forum makes him out to be or is Molinaro such a useless timber that people are so desperate to ask for an average LB (Chiellini) to take the LB position ?

its probably because there is no news or rumours about Juve looking for a new LB, so we can assume that Melleberg will play CB alongside Andrade/Legro with Chiellini on the left side...not such a bad idea IMO

I agree we are paying a lot for Amauri. Can someone tell me if someone is thinking of buying 4 very good defenders? We need right and left fullbacks and 2 central defenders as the 4 we have now are not good except Chiellini but I prefer him as left fullback

Maybe we are building for a 4-3-3 next season?
They might have something like this in mind:

Camoranesi- Xabi Alonso- Sissoko
(Nedved)- (Zanetti)- (Marchisio)
Amauri -Trezeguet- Del Piero
(Iaquinta) - (Iaq/Ama) - (Giovinco)

I would play 3-4-3 or 3-4-1-2. We don't have any good full backs (except Zebina, which isn't appreciated much), and we have Andrade and Chiellini as starters, we can add another great center back to the squad or rely on Mellberg and Legrotaglie (which is a big risk and specially in CL) for the third spot, and if we get X.Alonso next to Sissoko they can cover the defense very good and help the attack at the same time along with Camo, so we won't rely much on that Molinaro clown who keep on failing from creating chances, and let the midfield do the creativty job, while Amauri would take the ball from midfield and create chances and same for Del pie, Trezeguet's job will be easier to score, as for the last spot, that goes to Giovinco or Nedved, either on the left for 3-4-3 or Neddy on the left and Giovinco behind the strikers for 3-4-1-2.

Impossible, you can't play with one DM, and we would not be Competitive with just Barzagli and Grosso, we need world class CM .

In a matter of hours Amauri should hopefully become Juve owned. I wish him all the best and i think he can help us when he is called upon. Additionally, i cannot wait for this thread to close . He is a good player, and can make a difference and will make our forward line up quite the more ballin'. Im just really waiting to seal this deal up so we can work on more important areas such as CAM and our defense.

Not many, even me.
But I'm glad he did so well. He just needs to work a little bit more on his tackles becomes sometimes he tackles like an animal and Italian referees don't seem to appreciate that.
