Amauri: I Prefer Milan
Goal.com
5/17/2008

Palermo striker Carvalho Amauri has claimed he prefers a move to Milan, not Juventus. The Brazilian has been the most talked about transfer target this season in Italy, and it appears that the forward has made his final decision.

"I prefer Milan," Amauri stated today before his side's clash against Siena in Tuscany. "I just don't really like the players at Juventus, and Milan has some of my favorite compatriots, especially Kaka. There really is no debate here. I prefer Milan."

The Palermo player is a valued commodity by Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini, likely demanding a high transfer sum for the player. Juventus officials reportedly offered starlet Sebastian Giovinco for Amauri, however the Palermo officials demanded a Giovinco plus cash deal for the Brazilian superstar.

Milan officials are reportedly meeting in Palermo on Monday to finalize the deal.

this is the biggest bullshit ever written. The person who made up this shit should be pulled to court, this is just getting ridiculous. I actually had the chance to see the interview where amauri was asked that specific question and he answered nothing near that 'translation'. He just stated the usual standart fucking answer like 'playing next to del piero is a dream i'd never have imagined, but so is kaka'.
Why on earth should he say he didn't like the players at juve?! even if he did, he surely has enough of brains not to say so to the press, because if milan don't get to CL and if he really comes to us in the end, he'd not have made many friends with that.

Fact is, he did NOT say that (at least not in the interview i saw - why would he give to different answers to the same question) All just wait 'til milan have failed to qualify for CL and everything will be fine. If, in the end, he'll chose milan, i won't be sad or anything, because he surely is not first priority, but everyone; just WAIT a few more hours/days and we'll all know for sure, black on white, written on a official press announcement.

edit: i just reread that crap; and it's not getting any less ridiculous. they even state that we offered giovinco, and they turned down?! What the fuck?!! This article is just complete monkey-fuck
