Better, yes. But better coming off the bench? Better coming in as a utility player who can fill holes in our offensive lineup?

Those are the questions we should be asking. It's unlikely that we'd be bringing Amauri in to bench Del Piero or Trezeguet on a healthy day.

The frustrating thing about this whole saga is that we have IQ as Trez back up and HOPEFULLY we'll have Gio as DP back up or even starting but the amount of energy we are dispensing on getting him is unecessary considering we need defensive starters, nevermind re-inforcements and also a good attacking natured midfielder as Camo is the only person in our midfield line-up who can beat a man for skill

Man giovinco is a midfielder, giovinco would be wasted big time if he played as a support striker. With all this talk that gio will be the next del piero people tend to think that he play the same role of Alex which is a big mistake. If we will have seba next season then will have 2 creative midfielder (gio and camo) :rulz: ......

with the way giovinco is improving he is quickly gonna become one of the best, we really won't need diego or vdv we could do with a real battler on the left wing to be ready replacement for when nedved retires though
