At what cost would you be ok with Amauri?

  • Giovinco + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + cash

  • De Ceglie + Criscito + Giovinco

  • Nocerino + Almiron + Marchionni

  • Almiron + Marchionni + cash

  • Fuck no, don't want him at all

we need a new striker only because trez and del are starting to age. Super-sub iaquinta is not a young player anymore either. They did a great job the 3 of them to get us into the CL, but not playing in 3 competitions we need just a bit more depth pretty much in every apartment. So I do agree we need reinforcements in left/center of mid and defense (most importantly). But I wont frown if Amauri arrives, just as long as we dont lose Giovinco b/c that just wouldnt make sense. Amauri is quality but not world class...can you imagine next year at this time if Trez has in 18-19 goals, del has is 18-19 goals, Amauri with his 15, Iaquinta with his 8-10? Holy Shit our 2 strikers are joint leaders for the crown this season! The media has a nasty way of twisting players statements to make them sound worse than they really are, shame on all of you who believe everything you hear. I dont think one of the most sought after strikers in Europe would say anything as stupid as what some of you are making him out to look like.

Anyways...long story short, Amauri would be a great option for Ranieri whichever lineup he chooses, just as long as we DONT lose Giovinco. That will cause a shit-storm among every true Juve supporter.
Say WHAT?!
He's one year older than Amauri, don't be hypocrite

Can you describe or clarify this scenario? Sounds hilarious and epic hehe. How did he describe Ranieri calling him up? (it would have been even more awesome if Ranieri had called up live when zampa was on tv ;)).

It would have been great seeing Zamparini after mentioning Giovinco being interrupted by Ranieri on the phone and giving him sh*t.

He just said to Ranieri what he wanted but Ranieri told him Giovinco will saty with Juve.

the problem is, the juve board act as if your statement was true (the bold part), but actually outside of italy nobody gives a fuck about amauri ... and now you can tell by yourself ...

is everybody outside italy dumb and too blind to see that amauri is worth so much or is it just that milans and juves board are the only ones that think so =/

my god what a diamonds on this forum.....
yes a mediocre. not worth the money or upset it's causing. while we're dicking around with a forward we don't need other teams are lining up transfers that would actually improve our team.

and I could care less which national team he plays for, but stand for something or you'll fall for anything: amauri just can't decide if he's italian or brazilian, milano or juventino now can he??

how can you fault a guy who is trying to decide which team to play for when 2 of the teams are worldclass? Its not an easy decision to make. I am sure people in Argentina are pissed at Camoranesi, I am sure most Italians arent. Any striker that can score 15 or more goals in Serie A is pretty good if you ask me. We have been associated with Huntelaar in the past, why arent we going for him? Sure there are others that we could go after, but we dont have the money to bring in someone when other clubs could easily out bid or out wage us.

F*ckin' Amauri is causing so much tension here it's unbelievable. :D

For the right price I'll take him in my team for sure. If Palermo don't like it then they can go f*ck themselves.

Amauri doesn't suck, he's a very good forward who can play as a lone striker or support striker. He can play in a 4-4-2, 4-5-1 and 4-3-3(Ranieri said he could use this formation next year).

People are scratching their heads because he's 27-28 and been performing very well for a year or 2 but this can mean he's a late bloomer. You can see the talent. Great header, good runs, shoots with both feet...Luca Toni was a late bloomer too so we can hope he performs close to that.

Like I said before, at our(well, I don't really trust our board so at my conditions) :D this deal can be done, not a Palermo's.

Juve have been after the Brazilian but Milan have also joined the race. It seems as if Palermo want the Old Lady to give them Sebastian Giovicno as part of the deal but Juventus are not willing to meet the Rosanero’s requests.
“The talks with Juventus over Amauri are still on-going but nothing has changed since we spoke last time,” said Foschi.
“We spoke with them for a long time but we have not been able to make any progress.”

very well said mark77 totally agree with you
things look good for keeping giovinco but not for getting amauri

I'd work on strengthening the defense. You guys play in Serie A, I know there are some high scoring games, where usually a 1-0, 2-0, or 2-1 score line can be enough to see you home. The truth is while it may be a little aged, Juve still has quality at the top of the formation. Meanwhile, there were times this season where the defense was in shambles and the center of the midfield was clueless. If I were Juve I'd address the midfield and defensive issues in the summer and take a look at strikers in January, if needed. I decent winger and creative center midfield will take loads of pressure off Del Piero, Trez, and Iaquinta. While buying another forward just adds more pressure up top as far as creativity goes.
