Are you fucking serious
Giovinco a young new somewhat unproven player to replace a club hero , with most games and goals at the club a world cup and CL champion. WOW a real good replacement , might aswell bring back zalayeta for starting role over del piero.
Giovinco is the best replacement IMO for nedved in our current situation. The boy has talent and everyone noticed that. With juve he can develop and be even bitter. I'd been lucky to watch zidane when he first came to juve and believe me he didn't impress much in his first season and some people thought he wasn't good enough!! In a few years he became world cup champion and best player....

i agree. We don't know what we get with giovinco. I mean that boy is awesome, he's got the talent and he's quite impressing. Still, nedved's footsteps are big ones, and we don't know how well he adapts to our system, new team-mates, etc. I mean i wish him all the best, but we are taking a risk here. Still i DO believe he's one of the best (for that specific position) for our squad. Neddy will go on 1 more season i'd say; so it would be perfect to slowly start rotating in Giovinco into neddys position, and next year, he can take over his place

Nedved was never going to replaced by just one player, and this is the problem we have. It was the same with Zidane, he was never replaced, he was substituted with a completely different player whicj meant Lippi had to change the team. Nedved is a unique player who can't be replaced by just one star.

Giovinco would be a great squad player to have..he could sub nedved or del piero in the team, but he could play in a role behind the forwards as well if need be.

However, this team needs players, not just a player, this is why secco should be looking at multiple players who can improve the team with attacking, without losing balance as well.

Giovinco, Mancini, hamsik(aquilani, lampard) all players who would improve the team and in effect replace nedveds importance in the side.

He was poor against the mancs, was in Browns back pocket all day

he showed me nothing against manure and what has he done all season? nothing i would prefer palladino over him
Thats an extremely biased thing to say, Palladino in his current level of ability is nowhere near Mancini.

i say this because i think palladino can be very good, if he is used in his position

OK, no doubt Mancini is having his worst season at Roma since he joined. However, we know he has the quality and form is something that changes pretty quickly in football. Look at Cannavaro at Inter then at Juve...amazing change IMO.

If Mancini isn't the player to get, then a player with his qualities, meaning his dribbling skills, pace and scoring ability should be looked at.

He's overrated and I don't like him. He's selfish aswell.
That is what I have been saying.

But to be fair to Mancini when on-form he is very good. But he lacks consistancy and I dislike his character (he sometimes has a face like he doesn't care about the club).

Mancini is bound to leave, he isnt consistent anymore because he lost focus and motivation.
He sees no future with Roma, esp since they wasted this year's title, i m not sure if Juve would bring him the necessary motivation, he is a great player but he lacks smth in his character and this year he demonstrates that he hasnt the fighter's soul, Neddy has...

he didn't impress me last night at all.
As mentioned barnetta would be a very good option he's young, not gonna cost loads, is a very good promising player too and it is nice that he is of Italian descent, speaks Italian and can hold an italian passport so he wouldn't take up an non EU place because switzerland is not part of the EU so their players do take up non EU places if i'm correct?

mancini has been on a downward curve since totti took over the goalscoring duties, he had become less essential and less effective.

would rather we got a younger player and molded him in our philosophy like ronaldo at manu/kaka at milan. gabriel obertan?

if we are making a push for cl next year though expect the club to make more proven signings regardless of form.

Mancini is a very skillful player , I've seen what he is capable of doing . It's unfair to judge a player based on one match or on his current form , that's just stupid . He is a quality player I wouldn't mind having at Juve at all . He has exceptional passing , shooting , and dribbling . In all honesty , he is a better player than Palladino .
