this would be absolutely crazy. throw palla at them if they're looking for forwards. we would need iaq with us since there'll be lots of games to be had next season CL+Serie A. he's contributed so much to our campaign this season. and i thought the first game was just a fluke.

Juve Set For Mancini – Iaquinta Swap Deal?

Juventus and Roma could be set for an intriguing swap deal of Vincenzo Iaquinta for Amantino Mancini, according to Tuttosport.

Iaquinta only signed for Juve from Udinese last summer, and despite largely impressing, he has grown frustrated at having to play second-fiddle to the prolific David Trezeguet and Alessandro Del Piero.

Mancini on the other hand has been at Roma since 2003, but his contract expires next year, and so far there have been serious problems in coming to an agreement over the salary on a new deal.

Juventus are looking to add some flair to their squad in the summer, and have presented an offer to Roma for Mancini.

Given the player’s contract situation, Giallorossi boss Luciano Spalletti is prepared to let Mancini go, providing his former pupil Iaquinta is included as part of the deal.

Iaquinta and Spalletti have huge mutual respect for one another following their time together at Udinese.

Roma’s primary transfer target for the summer is already a physical centre forward, while Iaquinta would jump at the move as it would enable him first team football.

Spalletti also believes he has the ready-made replacement for Mancini in the form of the ever-improving Mirko Vucinic, however he could snap up another of his former players, Antonio Di Natale, with the money left over from the Mancini-Iaquinta exchange.

It possible IMO.Iaquinta would get more playing time in Roma plus they always wanted him

While this is a believable rumour, it is from Tuttosport.

I can't decide if I would go for this deal. It would depend on the details of the deal and who else we try to sign this summer.

Mancini`s only problem is his moral or mood. Most of the time he`s like "I don`t give a shit" on the pitch.

But I still like him as player and I think he`d be of a great help to us.Especially because he can play at both sides.

If we have a big name striker lined up in the summer or another very good striker then sure(Amarui,Hunterlaar) id say go for this deal because Mancini would offer great flair, great crosses for trez and is a player who most of you guys would welcome here.
