Morata is a proven 31 year old striker with two good scoring seasons under the belt and a Spain international.

This sounds expensive.

and Morata links again. At least it makes some sense as he would provide an alternative to Vlahovic while he is known to be able to play on the left (Allegri days)
Skip obviously but there are worse moves than go back to him.

If he is willing to take a pay cut and we can get him for his transfermkt value of ~12m - he might be worth considering. He could play on the left or be Vlahovic back up. He is an upgrade on Kean that is for sure - and he is costing us 15m gross in amortiations and gross wages. I can see doing well in Motta's system.

BUT he should not be viewed as a key signing - so so long as the cost is reasonable.
