Of course it isn't untrue, but then it's down to opinion. I was very disappointed to lose Vidal, Pogba, and Morata. We replaced Tevez with an awesome guy in Dybala who (hopefully - wishful thinking) will stay here for a long time. Pirlo wasn't getting any younger, so his departure was anticipated. The latter two losses I can stomach. The aforementioned trio resulted in a weaker midfield (as of now), and losing a striker with huge potential. I like Higuain, but I don't like Higuain for 90 million.
I am a huge Morata fanboy, and he had a fantastic finish to the season again. I would have loved to keep him and see him finally round the corner to stardom next year...
But Higuain is a massive upgrade, even if the fee was somewhat ridiculous. Dybala is looking like a guy who can replace Tevez's output (2nd season

)for us. I'm excited to see his second season.
All we need now is a class midfielder. It's really fucking irritating, even more so now, that we let Verratti slip through our fingers to PSG. And kind of choked that we sold Vidal last summer if we knew we'd be selling Pogba a year later. Bet on the wrong horse in my opinion. Even if Vidal had his off-field issues, we should have made him an offer that kept him here into his 30s.
But we can make our midfield pretty damn strong with 1 good signing. And Allegri seems to have suggested Marchisio will be back in October... so that's exciting news. If that is actually the case, Marchisio coming back, I really like the idea of trying to go for someone like Kovacic.
