Morata was more than a bench option, but Mandzukic seemed better complemented to Dybala. In the same fold, if Batshuayi offers certain characteristics we would find a way to accommodate him and optimise his ability while adding to the team's technical gameplay.

That is not the point. Not even close to the point. This team survived the losses of Baggio, ZIdane, Nedved, Trez, Del Piero.
