At Juventus, the player's technical ability, is far from enough on its own. Its also the person that matters a great deal. This is how you take a an individually well less talented team like juve, and go smash madrid, man city, and untill forced substitution, bayern munchen at home.

Benzema's technical ability is enough to walk into just about any team he'd want. But his person, is far away from what is required to come to juventus.

I most certainly hope we keep Morata.

no thanks, he will be 29 end of this year and this guy has blackmailing issues, keep morata he will be a better player.
And I just can't understand his stupidity. He was blackmailing his fellow player with a porn clip for something like 50.000 eur. That's are the peanut money for him.Not even his weekly salary at Real.He pleaded guilty for that.Idiot.

Exactly. It has nothing to do with them wanting him, but the profit off him.

Juve paid Real Madrid 20m for him = +20m
Now, Real Madrid pays Juve 30m = -10m
Then, Real Madrid sell to EPL for 40-50m = +30m-40m

That's a clean 30-40m profit! That's why there were talks earlier in the season about Juve offering an extra 10m (which is not enough) to get rid of the buy-back clause. Also, Morata can be easily convinced knowing that his salary in an EPL team would be triple what he get now.
You do know that Morata has to agree to sign with Real, right? It's not as simple as Real summoning him back and him having no choice. I haven't seen any indication at all from him, our club, or Madrid, that they are willing to exercise the clause. And I highly doubt he'd re-sign with them, only for them to flog him off to Arsenal straight away. Sounds highly unrealistic and unlikely. Infact, if he knew that was Madrids intentions I could see him telling them to fuck off and stay here.

The whole situation depends on Morata.

Have to say, he hasn't really looked like he has enjoyed himself this season, can you really see him rejecting a move back to Madrid or a move to EPL?

If we can get him back to scoring in Serie A and enjoying himself/convince him that he will be a key player next year then we have a much better chance of him deciding to stay.

Of course it's all up to Morata to decide.

He is the future of the position, I'd be really glad to see Marotta paying another 20M to retain him + almost doubling his wages.

There's simply no player better than him at his position at such a young age. Mandzukic + Morata is the ideal combo of CFs in any club not named Barcelona, Bayern or Real.

Fixed it for you! :)

You're right but the only thing I can say is that he's smart and classy enough to not say or indicate anything until the summer mercato begins. He knows better than to keep things all business during the season.

He hasn't had a great season that's for sure. So why are we all so sure that Madrid or anyone else will want him after a fairly mediocre season?

Exactly.By that, the clauses in the contract are just a wasted money for a lawyers. That sum of 20 mil. eur. we payed for him were upon of a Beppe's estimation and not a precise paragraphs of a contract. As that buy out clause of 30 mil is in the same manner. No, he is very far from the slave but ,as any other player he is obliged to respect the contract clauses. That have nothing with slavery.Maybe Quadrado wishes to stay at Juve but if Chelsea refuses to let him release that's it.Happen's million times. That have nothing in common with slavery. It's the contract and the law what it matters.

What I remember and what I understand from his situation, is that Real Madrid are allowed to negotiate with him as soon as the 15/16 season ends. That means if they offer Juventus €30m for him, this automatically triggers a clause which will allow them to negotiate with Morata for the transfer. But the decision on whether he wants to sign with them or not is ultimately down to Morata. Remember, until such time he agrees to a transfer to Madrid he is still contracted to Juventus. But if they offer him 2/3 times the salary he's getting now and they seemingly can "guarantee" him first team football, it would be hard for him to say no of course.

I can't find a link, but I remember reading that he has some sort of a dual contract. One with Juve running thru until 2020 and another for Real Madrid until 2019. Wouldn't that prevent him from having a final word regarding his transfer back to Real Madrid?

That is not correct, he does not have contract with Real but only us. The only agreement they have is fixed prices to buy him back if they want this summer and next one. That only happens if he wants to, no contract that compels him.

That's a relief. But if this summer was Real Madrid's last chance to get him back, we would've been safe. Morata will only get better by summer 2017 and eventually will fancy the chance to go back home.

The thing is, I sadly don't see him saying no to them. But I'm not convinced they
Will buy him back yet. With this Benzema situation and need for big signings, their focus will be in Lewandowski and Aubamayang imo.
