This guy is a super striker. Strong, fast, great dribbling skills and also pretty clinical with both feet (bar tonight).
I hope he stays and leads our attacking line for years to come. Very near to world class now, if not already there.
Didn't expect this for €20m. Thank you Real Madrid.
P.S. I hope there's no feud between him and Allegri.

He should have shot after his first cut across the city player. Hart was still deep in the net, and he had tons of space to shoot and most of the net to aim at. Instead, he cut across a second City player and Hart had closed down the shot angle, making it a fairly easy save, as Morata had nothing to shoot at... at that point he should have passed to Dybala for an open net tap-in. He made 2 bad decisions there, not shooting when Hart hadn't closed the angle down, and not passing when he had.
Not a big deal though, we won. He's just rusty from lack of continuity imo.
Brilliant to watch though. When he dribbled out of like 3 players near the left byline, I was just shocked he emerged with the ball and then made a nice pass. He's why we love to watch football.

I think that comes with some continuity. Need to know who you are playing with and mesh with them. Once we get an established rhythm going, he'll start to connect better with Dybala imo. You just have to look at the game against Bologna when had a goal, an assist and won a penalty. They started building a connection and then Allegri didn't play them again together for like 4 matches. Weird tactics from the coach.

He did all the time last year... He was constantly looking for Tevez. At one point he was passing almost every time he got the ball, around November-December. He found some balance later in the year-February-May... and was very aware of his teammates, had a number of nice assists.
I think Tevez being the experienced and dominant player he is, probably kept on Morata about keeping his head up looking for his strike partner... and now without that player to partner him, and Dybala being so young and meek-seeming, isn't really the same type of presence as Tevez to take him to task when he's playing without awareness of his teammates.
It will come in time, you'll see.

We just need players who are willing to give him shit when he's being selfish. Like Pogba. I mean, Pogba can throw a little tantrum on the pitch a little too often sometimes, but we need more players that passionate and demanding of themselves and others on the pitch. Dybala needs to go give Morata shit when he's not looking up. Just like Pogba did.. Just like Tevez did last year.
How come everyone is forgetting how excellent he was at the end of the game ?
At least 5 times he manages to get the long ball, holds of City defenders, and finds a free player to keep the calm in the game and the ball in our possession.
Not to mention comming in as a substitute, and getting 2 excellent chances
