:lol:

I wonder how the other CF Aubameyang has 16 goals and 9 assists then.

When Aubameyang starts as the CF, Dortmund's record in Bundesliga is 6 wins-1 loss-3 draws

When Immobile starts as the CF, Dortmund's record in Bundesliga is 0 wins-6 losses-3 draws

RUS doesn't even consider that Immobile's appalling finishing is major reason the team looks so bad when he starts.
Aubamenyang already suited for their fast build-up play, while Immobile, Ramos and even Kagawa all struggle to find their momentum, but no, they all are mediocres because juventuz football analytics says so :rofl:

You just don't give up. Most of the reasonable members on this board can admit when they're wrong, when they've made a mistake. Even Zach can admit he's wrong occasionally.

I ate crow over wanting Iturbe this summer. I said later, "thank god we didn't sign him. I can't believe i was so wrong about him as a player." Now would be the time for you to say something similar about Immobile, but you're far too pigheaded for that.

You have absolutely not a shred of humility. Really good quality to possess.

Morata is 22, and starting to fulfil his potential, playing very well, and working his way into the starting line-up of the best team in Italy, and a CL contender.

Immobile is 25, should be in his prime, playing terribly, and has been benched by the 10th place team in Bundesliga, he hasn't started a match in 6 rounds.

People overrate Immobile based upon 1 good season. Just 1. Klopp and Dortmund fucked up in that regard too. So did Prandelli in taking him to the WC.

People said we overpaid for Gio at the time of his purchase. 11 mil for half. Immobile sold for basically 10 mil for half very similar.

In looking at the year prior to our purchase of Gio, and also the year prior to our sale of Immobile:

Giovinco in 2011-12 (age 24->25) 36 games ~ 15 goals - 16 assists

Immobile in 2013-2014 (age 23 -> 24) 33 games ~ 22 goals - 3 assists

Is Immobile's season really any more impressive than Gio's? Gio had 15 goals - 16 assists. I'd take that over Immobile's 22 goals - 3 assists any day. The problem here is that like with Immobile, Gio only ever had 1 single good season, and it was at a mid table club.

These two players are both examples of having a good season well into their 20s and being massively overrated because of it. We got bitten by our stupid purchase of Gio, and didn't want to have it happen again with Ciro.

Hence the reason we went for a much younger player, with massive potential in Morata.

you probably meant Prandelli :D

agree that Morata is better, even at this stage of his career. we got him for the same total spending we would have had if we signed Ciro so that makes it an even better signing.

a lot of people here wanted Ciro but changed their mind on both players weeks/months after we got Alvaro. its only RUS that keeps his bullshit up continuously. whats funny is that i actually see Ciro return here one day, when we run out of HG squad fillers we can use (because thats what he really is, a squad filler). cant wait to see what RUS will say if that ever happens

Ooops. :lol:

We'll bring Immobile here at around 29, and he'll be the next Bendtner or Osvaldo. :lol:
