The boy thrives as a center forward. No wonder he's disillusioned playing as a winger when he knows what he can do in his natural position. The same thing happened with Cavani and it didn't do him much good in the long run.

Dybala and Mandzukic do suit each other well but I don't see why Morata and Dybala couldn't build an even stronger partnership if given the chance. Morata is still tall and strong enough with his back to goal for a player like Dybala to play off.

Final Italian Cup was a clear example. The game was screaming for our counterattack and Morata sub in almost in 125'

Allegri was actively trying to make Morata into a more bona-fide CF. So his long term plans are to play him as such. I sure hope he stays.
I was happy but also upset when I saw he scored.

Not this retarded shit again.

Allegri handled rotation perfectly again this year. Hence the reason we won a domestic double after such a poor start, and were undefeated for like 26 matches in a row.

Mandzukic played 2600 minutes, Morata played 2400 minutes. Both had brief injuries. Both had a poor run of form...

Morata played more minutes than anyone in CL. He deserved them.

He played less minutes in Serie A, because he was very poor in Serie A for almost 4 months, October to January.

He also plays better as an SS in Serie A which anyone who is not blind can see. Hence the reason Morata rotated with Dybala most often in Serie A, and not so often with Mandzukic. And he's was fantastic down the stretch run of the season playing support striker. 9 goals - 7 assists in his last 1035 minutes attest to that, almost exclusively playing support/second striker (spelling Dybala during his injury, playing of Zaza in Coppa Italia, sub'ing into games for Dybala, rotating for Dybala).

This stuff is obvious. I highly doubt he wants to leave because he feels Max treated him unfairly.

Y'all make these players out to be petulant, 12 year old boys. It's hilarious. Morata is a grown man. Not a child.

Potentially yes. This season he wasn't though. Fantastic player that needs to learn how to play with his back to the defence better, Allegri was trying to teach him that.

Are we going to freak out every day a new report comes out? or after every match Spain plays? Or after every vague quote? :D let's wait and see what happens. He wants to stay, we want to keep him but it's not totally up to us. Hopefully we can keep him but for now we have to wait.

€25M saved from not buying Berardi

€30M incoming from Morata's buyback

Logix :beppe:

Use that money to buy a real top striker or something if redeeming Morata is practically impossible

Is he any good? Goals? Assists? Position?
Fairly good mid-level player. Plays attacking left midfielder /wing forward, cuts in alot creates and primarily is direct threat. Past season is his best at 29 years of age, scored 17 goals and 8 assists.

Barcelona want him back for backup (was in Barca B with Guardiola as coach) but he doesn't seem keen. Also rumour of City wanting him due to Pep connection.
