2 assists, semi assist for the freekick

And that skillmove that set up the first goal, amazing
You know what's insane... We have 4 forwards with better goal+assist/minute ratios than 150.

Zaza goal+assist/73 minutes
Dybala goal+assist/95 minutes
Mandzukic goal+assist/138 minutes
Morata goal+assist/150 minutes

Insanely good.

He is still over thinking his chances in front of goal but he provided two assists so it was a good game. Even when not in form he is dangerous and that is a great quality.
Great work with the insists indeed.

He has gotten better about distribution now we need him to stop over thinking his finishing.

Great work on the first assist to Zaza. Very Sandroesque.

But we never replaced Tevez.

Seems to be good at one or the other but never good at both.

When his passing is on and he is getting assists, he's not scoring... And when he's scoring a lot, his passing is not on... He needs to figure out better balance.
This :agree:

As long as he is still useful in an attack in some form (assists, beating players with skill, moving defenders around) whilst not scoring, all is good. The goals will eventually come though, he's too damn good of a player for this to go on for too much longer.

Still our most complete striker imho, can play with his back to the goal, can run in spaces. Love his attitude too, even if he's not scoring he's the first one to run to his teammates when they do.

Forward line options include:

Dybala - Mandzukic
Dybala - Morata
Dybala - Zaza
Morata - Mandzukic
Morata - Zaza

The only striker combination that won't work is Zaza - Mandzukic.

Moratas ability to par Mandzu and Zaza is key here. And it proves Morata a modern no 9.

Even far away from his best form he can manage to do really good things. He seems to play the second striker role when playing with Zaza and Mandzukic. Doesn't seem to get into goal scoring positions but runs the channels well and he has a good cross on him (that's his second assist from a cross this season I believe). When he played with Dybala he got in the right positions to score though.

Very good, keep it that way and goals will come.

Like i said in the last game against sevilla...he did all the right thinks except scoring.
Today he improved on it and gave some nice assist and a top performance.
Next time he will bang it.

He is turning into a chameleon now. And this could be really helpful.
He cannot play SS in a catlike way like dybala does.... but in his own style.. the guy can really partner mandzu and Zaza when needed

Dont think Morata - Mandzukic would work either.
