Agreed.

Don't get me wrong. I'm one of his biggest fans. I've spent a lot of time arguing with his naysayers in this thread. The guy is clearly going to be a world class forward. All I'm saying is that if he can get a little better at taking a moment to place his strikes, he's going to be a top 3-5 forward in the world.

You can't appeal a red card ( when its a matter of harsh decision ) as far as i know, only case is if the refree booked a player by mistake
I think you can appeal. But it would be more adequate to appeal only when he would get 3 match ban, now though, its a normal red card with wide interpretations, so no one will waste time looking at it.

Yep agreed. Proper progress for him is fine tuning his final decision making with the shots and more calculating finishing. In essence bury the shot that lead to the rebound instead, not rush himself (noticed he tends to do it alot) and drill it in. He does everything else very well, so this is the main next step for him to up his goal production.

I think that the red card was a little more legit than you do. Attack from behind when the ball is out of reach is mostly a red card unless we talk about holding the jersey or shoulder. Then it's a yellow

That was closer to orange then some kind of outrage since it was unnecessarily aggressive behind tackle, reckless, but yeah defenitely not enough to be red. But still dumb by him IMO.

Tristan in Mallorca level would be cool hehe, quite nice player, extremely shortlived and troubled career since he left them tho (excellent for Depor too, but not scoring much).

Yep very nice player, ruined by injuries, he was great for depor too, Morata kind of remind me of him, tall, good with his feet but not quite the finisher !!

It was definitely a yellow. Was aggresive and without the ball....but i dont think it was a straight red.

If it was a sliding tackle to the heel from behind, then i would agree with a red card.

I don't know, the red did seem excessive, but if you review the play, the ball was miles away and Morata didn't go for the ball at all.. it did look like an aggression, he simply kicked the guy.
