I thought he has a year left in his contract. So if he does not extend, option to buy and buyback is not valid?
He'll probably extend. If Real use that option and he loves us so much we'll get him back for free when his contract end in 2017. :p

Juventus seems to have found the right striker for the future: it’s Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata. Juventus will try to close the deal on June 2, proposing a loan with an option to redeem him and the option for Real to counter-redeem him. The player would like the destination because it would allow him to play in the Champions League next season and Real wants to have a good relationship with Juventus to have a sort of fast track if in the future they will try to buy Vidal and Pogba. Juventus is trying to finalize the Morata’s coup.
    Predictable.

What a beta deal by Juve. Beta mentality.

Fuck the buy back clause and fuck Madrid for thinking that Morata is enough for them to have first dibs on Vidal and Pogba.

    Cons:

    Buy-back clause.

    Pros:

Almost free sub player, who is technically and financially better than those we had earlier each and every year. (Osvaldo - Bendtner - Anelka)
    Young with very good potential.
Key step in getting Sanchez this Summer. No huge wages are needed for Drogba/Anelka.

I am not seeing any risk associated with this transfer. What is the worst case scenario?
