We own three strikers who are 30 or close to being 30. This summer will probably be the last time to get solid cash for Vucinic, Quag and Matri. It's hard to expect all three to be sold, but I'd do my best in Marotta's place to sell all of them. It will be especially tough to find a buyer for Mirko, due to his wages (3.5m iirc). But if Vucinic and Juve leave their mark in CL knockouts and attract attention, then selling the trio of strikers is doable. These three won't get any better than they are. Quite the opposite. If there is time to sell them, it's this summer. Their sales will easily finance a top striker. Adding Giovinco and Llorente and the cash we will have left, we could create a sweet and young attacking base (top striker, Seba, Llorente, 4th striker).

But this will require some monster job from Marotta. Won't be easy at all to buy a top striker and sell three of your own strikers, especially if we have in mind their age and their not so good reputation as the weak part of an excellent Juve team.
Marotta will never take a gamble like this. My bet is that Quagliarella will be sold, while Matri & Vucinic will stay.

Only 1 flaw in this post if you ask me. You're assuming Llorente isn't the top striker.

Yep. Quag will go, we'll sign a SS like Sanchez or Jovetic and the rest of the attack will remain.
And some more use of the word "will". I love it.

Vucinic is irregular but by far ou best striker right now.

Let's say Marotta has a 30M budget for next summer, a reasonable amount IMO.

Sell Matri + Quagliarella and get aroung 17M for both of them.

This makes 47M available. Just spend it all in Suarez, man. Sign a free CB as a backup (Amorebieta or Diakite).

    And call it a mercato.
We still have to pay for Peluso, Asamoah and Isla.

    Don't forget Llorente coming.
    so: new SS,Mirko,Llorente,Matri and Gio.

Even if we sell another forward(Matri/Gio), Immobile or any other young forward will be a fifth choice.
It would be a bad idea.so as long as we don't sell 3 forwards there is no chance any young striker will get enough minutes.and it wont happen.
Marrota can't sell 1,so 3 will never happen.

Bokye,Ciro and Manolo will have to stay on loan next season.

    Buck,

If you think we'll only sign Llorente for our attack you must be mad. I doubt Conte will accept having a mediocre attack next year.

If those reports about 18-20m are true I think we have a chance finalizing this deal. I can't see him benching Mirko but he'd be ahead of Gio that's for sure. Especially in 3-5-2.

Maybe we could use 4-3-3 from time to time with Vucinic/Gio - Llorente/Matri - Sanchez/Pepe forward line? Would be interesting. Sanchez is an improved version of Pepe so I can see it work.

I'm not Marotta however with everything that's reported by every reliable source in Italy, we will sign another attacker along with Llorente. Conte certainly won't accept the shit we have next season, if they force that on him we can all say goodbye. That's an unrealistic argument though as a SS will be our priority this summer and where our most expensive purchase will be made.

That's what all the evidence seems to point towards...and why not eh??
De ceglie will finally be sold/ put out of his misery. bendnter loand end. Giaccherini may also go, since he doesn't feature much now.

Jovetic would be perfect, Sanchez would be OK. The latter hardly the superstar signing we could do with, but nonetheless, far more potent than our present quartet...kinda like a poor mans tevez and still time to improve.

It would be interesting to see how Quagliarella would have done if given the same chances as Mirko, but unfortunately he fell foul of Conte, and it seems Quags can't stomach Conte's egoism and Conte feels the same, which is another worrying sign of Conte putting Conte before the club's best interests, but something we all look past whilst we are doing so damn well...what happens though, when he falls foul of one of our other key players??? It seems once your card is marked by Conte, you are finished at Juve...(elia, ziegler, quags). Neopolitans are passionate proud people, which likely hasn't helped relations between the two, but yeh...quags will leave.
    Llorente/Matri as prima puntas
Sanchez/Jovetic coming in may well push out Mirko or Giovinco.

Likely also a CB...how about Dede??? Or a return of Sorensen whose defensive zeal has always looked raw but top drawer.

Then all that remains will be a vice pirlo...can poli do this job??
