Well that is hardly impressive since there isn't even 5 LWB's playing at highest level in Europe.
I call Marcelo the only player I could see Conte take in favor of Asamoah. Otherwise he is sublime in this position.

Call it wingback/fullback/left def mid/left mid you know what players can play these roles and you know Asamoah is one of the very finest!!!

By the way its funny how so many people said they dont want Jovetic after our game with Viola, but once he scored two goals against inter he is wanted by everyone...

Messi has one bad game, and then people in the Champions League thread, doubt if he's worlds best.

Says everything about this forum.

Against a team that knows how to defend deep, compact, as a team and unit, and can mark and double mark efficiently ....

... messi is not even in top10 of ideal central forwards to field.

If Barcelona had falcao as central forward, iniesta leftwing and messi rightwing(where he should fucking be)

they would win everything as long as xavi and iniesta keep carrying the team

Except for Asamoah.
Strange...for when I see Lichsteiner on the RWb position, although he is a monster, defensively magnificent, offensively he offers far less than Asamoah does on the left, and whilst Asamoah's natural defensive zeal is far less than that of the Lichsteiner, overal he offers more as a wingback, for his forages forward are more intelligent and precise.

It makes sense for us to purchase players who excel as wingbacks, which would mean either Isla returning to form and giving us an offensive option to challenge/revolve with Lichsteiner, or selling the cripple, leeping Lich and buying a specialist, fit and healthy RWB. Still...no chance of us selling Isla, at least not until the european summer of 2014. As for the Left, was Peluso a stop-gap measure??? He is nowhere near as useful as a LWb as Asamoah. Maybe he could be ,but will need much longer, and is he not more naturally at his best as a LCB???? Once we finally sell that useless goon De Ceglie, perhaps we can invest in a proper LWB, who can challenge/revolve with Peluso and Asamoah can be challenger/revolve with Vidal and Marchisio as Pogba will also be. We should grab Verratti for the middle for we will need a vice pirlo next season and none of our own youngsters our near to ready for such a role.

If we get Sanchez Juve will start looking like little Santiago haha :D

I wouldn't be against it, and I agree with most of what you say mate. Seriously though, we need to ditch Peluso & De Ceglie and get a fully fledged LWB/LB, someone in the mould of Criscito for instance. Then as you say I'd love to see Asah played more often in the middle to relieve Marchisio and Vidal of their duties once every so often (Lets face it, at brilliant as they have been, both of looked tired at various stages of this campaign).

So we would have Isla and Licht to rotate at RWB, Asah and Criscito for LWB; and the Caceres would could theoretically play both of those (as well as any CB position).

So good, you had to say it thrice :D :touched:
I can get fucking mad when someone quotes half the phrase, so the context is entirely wrong, and then someone else quote that, and wrong information is created

Like when i said we had a pretty small budged IF we's sign lissandro lopez. we didnt. now a few marotta haters tend to quote the original small budged as what "i claim" we'd have this summer

goddamn bullshit
