He'll have his last year of his contract with us and he knows that money wise his next contract will be at least 2 (probably 4) times smaller. Now it all depends on him. He can stay in Juve and get his 4.2 million or sign a 3 year contract with some other club for 2m a year or something. Next summer he'll be 32 and it's a question if anyone will give him even 2m and probably noone will offer him a 3 year contract.
Makes you wonder what he'll likely do. Hard to be in a position like that. Inflated salary all these years, and a bubble that's about to burst. Though I think salary wise he'd be better off going abroad.
@Nicola:
How can you say Inler is done with all those players they want as part of the deal? How much money will we be looking at paying in addition to the players?

Even some of the sources you (or Melo) posted in the last minutes say that Napoli's offer was 16m eur (including Denis, I believe) while from us they ask 2 million more, or in total 18m eur for Inler, which can be cash+players.
