I remember when I saw him play live and he sucked ass. :D Tried to dribble everybody, didn't get one right...but now you can't deny the talent and how he developed into a very good player. Isla was great in that tournament and played DM.

thats an interesting idea, if its possible, i would prefer him to Bastos, but again there is much interest on him, we cannot avoid overpaying for him...
that makes no sense, Cron...you consistently talk of how we keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again, and purchasing Sanchez, to then convert him to a wide player, as he was before, is not that different to what we did with martinez. its repeating the same mistake...we need, in the very least, a starting XI where every player is playing in his best natural role. You don't take a player who excels in the middle, pay huge money for him, then immediately change his position. Unless you are been sarcastic...?

it wasnt over a week...i didnt see all of his games...but from what i saw...yes, it was a strange....kinda like fits and spurts of improvement, over a month or so, always getting better, never worse. I think it took him some time to adjust to moving into the middle, but he looked better straight away. So i guess it is better worded, my opinion that is, as 'staggered and dramatic'...either way, I cannot judge him accurately when he was on the left flank, as I only saw a few games when he played there. In the middle though...yes...he looked better and better and better, as the second half of the season wore on.

sanchez??? I thought his whole career changed when he was moved from the wing to the centre...and it was then that he slowly began to improve dramatically.
This man speaks the truth. Alexis did have some great games (especially for Chile) on the right wing, but he exploded only when he started playing a more free role as a SS. LW will be an entirely new position for him and he might easily not live up to his price tag there.
