Making a final means jack shit, especially for this mgmt who sells players regardless of cl income
That's ridiculous. You don't get the chance to win finals without getting to them. I'd rather lose 100 finals than be an irrelevant Rof16/QF exit every year.

It's pretty obvious we've been a top 3 team in football under Allegri. Only Barca and Real have won the CL in these 3 years, and no one else has come close to our 3 straight domestic doubles + 2 CL finals record. Arguing otherwise is completely baseless.

Over the last decade? Of course not, but what other team had to go through calciopoli and relegation?

As long as we keep getting to last 4 of the CL eventually we will get one right. Sad that this is the case but infinitely better than being an irrelevant team who gets the biggest stage once every 20-30 years.

People seriously need to cheer up. The pessimism around here is getting paralyzing. Calling our management spineless pussies while pissing in your own pants over every rumor seems like an odd combination. Could it be that some around here might themselves need to man up a bit.

It's going to be like this until the football starts, that CL final made everyone go full retard. Honestly better to avoid the forum if you're expecting different.

I would agree with this but having seen us lose so many finals, I would be the last person to brag about it.

What matters is we don't have a CL trophy in our hands yet and that's what separates us from the elite .

You cant compare the Kroos case really. Kroos wanted to stay, but also he wanted a higher salary. The board didnt want to give him as they didnt value him, and there for he went to Real. A giant mistake yes, but its not because they couldnt keep him, if they wanted he would still play in Bayern Munich today.

Its completly different cases. Bayern always told other clubs to fuck off, they did it endless times. Lewandowski, Thiago, Ribery, Neuer, Alaba, Robben, Müller. The list goes on.

Yeah I completely get that but at some point people need to move on. Everyone deals with things differently but crying over it for three months will hardly help.

Exactly this. We're not a top 5 club of the last 20 years because of the lack of a CL title. Which sucks. Because we really should be.

Regardless, if I had to pick my poison, I'd rather be featuring in the biggest European matches each year in the SFs and Finals, than be some scrub team always knocked out in the early stages. One day we'll win. We have to. I'd rather not contemplate losing another 5 straight finals over the next 20-30 years. :sergio:

Faith. Gotta have it. And the domestic success will take the edge of that hunger until it's finally sated.

When you think about it, Inter is like that. They won in 2010, but else they mostly been irrelevant really, and I think they only got to that final because of calciopoli
