But in many games we were playing Alves as winger with Barza as RB, which just shows how much we care about defense.

That had as much to do with Cuadrado turning to shit last month (making our right wing absolete) then it did with adding defensive solidity. As soon as Alves became healthy again it was super clear he was the starter as RB.

I'm not even bothered. We switched to the 4-2-3-1 after the winter mercato. So we never really had any back ups for this formation. But we still did well with it. This summer mercato is where we'll get the balance right and it's from here we'll push on. As long as we don't have a mass exodus.
