He's also ridiculously strong for a full back, physically. Another example was when he got into a difficult spot with Rafael and went side-to-side with the former United lesbian, better twin went flying and AS barely even switched his stride. Players bounce of him.

He's not perfect defensively but he's to be cherished for his role as we use him, great wing back.

One of the few who look like they give a shit lately. These last games we're hopelessly trying to attack from the right for 80 mins at which point we suddenly remember how good AS actually is and start utilizing that part of the pitch too. Wish it would happen sooner, but hey, dem Dani Alves crosses yo. :tuttosport:

He sure is a beast but in the second half I saw him make two fatal defensive mistakes, one of them lead to the Napoli goal.
I consider him more as a LM after these performances. Most comfortable player in our whole team with the ball, creates boatloads of chances, works 90 minutes and is not shabby coming back either, but could be better (as we've seen with a couple of momentary slip ups). Him and Cuads on the wings are deadly.

4-4-2 with him on the left is honestly a valid formation now, and with Pjaca coming back it's even more of a useful formation.
