Make no mistake, this is the transfer of the season!
Sandro is not just a great talent, he is a great player, he is ready to becone a starter in a Juve level team.
We used to have a fetish as a club with Italian defenders, we have tried everything and everyone, from Molinaro to change formation and have no Lb and imo we suffered a lot for our inability to find a decent solution there.
There was a decade long quest, with us trying to find the answer for that problem and keep failing. Every summer and winter transfer window we were looking for the next Criscito and the next Balzaretti and each and every time we were dissapointed.
Our best bet, after the ridiculous Ital-juve era has closed, was Asamoah, an athletic, unrelented fast DM, that could be used as a wingback in our 3-5-2, this was an important moment, as we have finally realised that we should like at stranieri.
Up until the player model, who defined how an Lb should be, has run out of contract and we could grab him as a free aagent
That was another important moment, because that was an actual Juve material Lb in our squad, however still a compromise, considering his age and the stamina levels needed for that position.
And now we are here, settled about our formayion, settled about our coach and player roles and we were building a team for the future, a team that would rely on an Evra like Lb , dominating our flanks. There was no other piece in our starter eleven, so extremely hard to find.
Yes we overpaid, yes Sandro lacks the defensive solidarity of Evra, nonetheless, this acquisition is a victory for our future like no other!
Dybala's for 40mil can be found in abundance, We buy loads of such talented SSs and CMs each and every year, but have been failing to find such an Lb for so many years...Such magical moments happen once in a decade and is reason enough for every Juventino to celebrate!

He pulls out all the time honoured classics like

- ItalJuve/Mediocre Italians
- CMs and SSs
- Mentioning former players bought under previous mgmt
- Underhanded shots at Marotta

But still, congrats Cron :touched: This must be like nirvana for you.

"lacks the defensive solidarity of Evra". Well no, but Evra did improve as the season went on. Alex Sandro does remind me of Evra in some ways, but he's a grittier and more stubborn defender.
