He's a legit left back. Would have rather had Danilo, who has more leadership (and earns less disciplinary cards) and can create more going forward (including scoring goals). But he's more a RB and we wouldn't pay Real Madrid lunacy pricing anyway.

Sandro could be a starting LB for many years to come. So a good play.

Marcelo is a talent going forward but horrible defender, meanwhile Luis Felipe couldn't even crack Azpi, a RB at Chelsea. Left backs are hard to get by these days, even Marotta once had interview on how difficult to find a good LB in the current market. When you look at the context of a LB, its not overpaying.
