I've never thought Luisao is that slow.

He's quite slow on the turn, but his huge stride covers the ground reasonably quickly when it comes to a straight sprint.

He'd be pretty high on the list of CBs I would say Juve ought to consider (no idea if he's available).
Well, I don't think Lugano is that slow. :D

Luisão isn't fast and if you asked me to compare, I'd say Lugano is faster than him. The brazilian is great positionally and leading the defensive line, though. I'd take him before any of the names referenced by the press, but I want him with Benfica and the money coverage that Benfica would get wouldn't cover the huge loss on the pitch by any means.

P.S.: Maybe I rate Coates higher than Luisão or any CB linked with us, but he would mostly be an option for the future anyway. We need someone right now.

I don't know if I'd take him on a permanent basis. He is very good but also on high wages and injury prone, he could become a giant liability.

Weird trend on here; when a thread is opened regarding a player there's an initial excitement and you see comments like "Oh my God, too good to be true" and as the player is about to join you get a flood of negative posts :disagree:

"Injury prone" "show pony" "one-dimensional" "unproven" "non-EU"

Just be happy bitches. That's all I'm saying.
