Tuttosport is not good enough for you,

Chelsea don't want to loan, 10 - 13mil,

Options:

1. Spend cash on a CB, See if we can loan or trade for a LM

2. Spend cash on a LM, Get Lugano for free or cheap
Pretty much

but vargas/perotti is about the best we can get for LW, so i'd say alex

We should have enough money for a CB and LM after sales. Anyways, I'd take a cheap Lugano and a good LW. The cheaper options for LW really aren't good enough.

You reckon?

Chelsea are asking for 13m, and may well get that since there are a few teams interested.

the 8-10 mil eval is coming from some of the rumour mill sites out there.
personally, I also think he is worth more - 13 sounds about right considering the circumstances.

Lugano v Alex really depends on how Juve are going to play.

If Juve were to defend in a compact fashion and focus on organisation, Lugano is the man.

If Juve are going to go out to dominate in games, playing attacking football, more of the defending will be counter attacks and defenders having to play one-on-one against a forward, often in large spaces. Alex would be more suited to that, while Lugano would have his lack of pace exposed and be likely to pick up a lot of cards.

I think lugano would be the safer option of the two but I do agree with red about Alex and how he would be more for an attacking offense, which juve is going for

In that case we should get Alex since Conte wants possession and attacking football.

Luisao played for one of the most attacking teams I've ever seen. Offside trap and high dline were part of the system and he was a beast there, even though he played alongside David Luiz who had the pace in the duo. Having said this, I don't see any problem in Lugano playing with Chiellini in an attacking system.

I honestly prefer Lugano at Juve, regardless the price, as he is the one who would give us the most balanced defence. If we’re indeed going for a CB, then we should go for a leader no matter what.

I've never thought Luisao is that slow.

He's quite slow on the turn, but his huge stride covers the ground reasonably quickly when it comes to a straight sprint.

He'd be pretty high on the list of CBs I would say Juve ought to consider (no idea if he's available).
