really? alex in the top 10? seriously i rate the likes of juan higher than him, alex is good, but not THAT good, and is by no means great, unfortunately i think many here still think he's playing at the same level as he did at psv when he was excellent, but tbh he is only a mere upgrade to bonucci, but not really what we need in terms of his lack of leadership qualities in the backline which is what we sorely lack more than anything.
I disagree.

Alex's so called "mistake" against West Brom was no mistake at all. Did you guys see the pass that he was supposed to receive? That was the true error. The attempted pass to Alex was instead a direct pass to the West Brom player, and it left Alex with a huge disadvantage, which the West Brom player took advantage of and scored.

Some may argue that Alex should have been more alert to the pass, but the way I see it, the pass had way too much power.
I agree that the pass to him was porr but he then got outmuscled by Long (who is no Drogba) and should have recovered the situation.

Not long after he then played 2 West Brom players onside which should have resulted in a goal.

It wasn't one of his better games.

:agree:
I said the same thing a couple of pages back.

Yeah I think it was Bosingwa who fucked up.
It was Ramires.
