I was watching the Utd game today, and was thinking, Secco did quite a good job getting Amauri for 22.8 million(minus lanzafame and nocerino), after seeing Berbatov for Utd ( not sure of the exact price but if i'm not mistaken it was something between 25 and 30 million sterling).
Amauri was wanted by Juve, Milan and probably a few others, while Berbatov was wanted by Utd and City.
I'm just trying to see who got the better deal, as after this evening's match, Berbatov has scored 3 goals in the premiership, while Amauri has scored 10, many of which where decisive.
Basically the point behind this is that Secco can't be as utterly hopeless as most people make it out to be, cause the only real flop we've had since we've been in Serie A is Almiron
