Gilardino was a great player at parma just as amauri is at palermo, the same thing could happen with amauri as it did with gila.
Gila actually won a Serie A footballer of the year award. So far, Amauri has won ... time as Luca Toni's shadow and possibly 6th place on this year's capocannoniere charts.

Or rather, what goes inside Zamparini and the Italian media's head? Its even more frustrating. The Juventus board hasnt said anything about Giovinco's departure.Till they say that he's heading to Palermo, ill continue to support the very obvious notion which states that Giovicno will be at Turin next season.

Juventus have had a sound first season back in Serie A, but many people, including former guru Luciano Moggi, believe that they could have done much better than third place had their transfer campaign last summer not been a disaster.

Transfer chief Alessio Secco has received huge criticism after he invested heavily in both Sergio Almiron and Tiago Mendes, only to see both players completely flop. A number of other transfer decisions, including the attempt to sell Giorgio Chiellini, have also raised eyebrows.

However the managing director of Ifil, Carlo Sant'Albano, has promised that this summer, the same mistakes will not be made.

"The management is very focused on the transfer campaign of Juve, we will do better this time round," Sant'Albano declared.
"One must give credit to the players and [coach] Claudio Ranieri to have won a place in the preliminaries of the Champions League. Certain purchases like Momo Sissoko have been successful."

Juventus have already captured Aston Villa's Olof Mellberg on a free transfer, but many fans are demanding some big-money buys if the club are to make a further step up in quality
