i said id judge all of them when the season is over. i think our comfortable 3rd place is a pretty good ending, although we are far from perfect this season. however i'd like to see the summer transfers. i honestly think an amauri acquisition is unnecessary if that happens, but we'll see what secco has up his sleeve. if he screws this summer transfer up, as his previous transfers didnt really have a big impact, i think he has to go.

i want mostly every player to return from loan as good as these kids are they are not experienced and in CL and serie a experience is needed. not only that but we need quality in other positions. if we do only only buy 2 players they would have to be utmost quality. i am hoping we get 3 as more than that is highly unlikely, as 1 of those players is most likely going to be a striker.

Secco Defends Almiron & Tiago Signings

Much-maligned Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has defended the signings of midfield flops Sergio Almiron and Tiago Mendes last summer.

Almiron and Tiago were signed from Empoli and Lyon for a combined €22m with the intention of being Juve’s first-choice centre midfield partnership.

However both have struggled dreadfully, with Almiron shipped off on loan to Monaco in January, and Tiago certain to be sold at the end of the season.

"When we bought them almost everyone claimed that we had made the right choice,” said Secco.

“Almiron came from two excellent seasons at Empoli. And Tiago is a talented player who has been important.”
