being wrong on what exactly? i obviously didnt say that he was never a good player.
Simply that he cant be the player he will be presented to be...

Exactly how it happened with Borriello when you intenionally misinterpreted my posts with the sheer purpose to defame me, like always, my point still stands though, both on Pirlo's+Piazenza's benefit after two years, instead Aquilani+Sissoko and on Borriello's rating by our coach and possible danger it represents, laugh like fools now, but in time you will understand...

Think ahead, think outside the marketing contex, Alex would give us actual option, Nesta will give us prestige that wont translate much on performance, just like Toni...
Think of the true reason we are signing a has been and are off loading DP.

When i m wrong i accept it, but i still stand my ground on this, this is a transfer to appease the fans and it will mean that no real investment to boost our performance will be made.
Again the prestige cost/prestige will be favored instead of the ratio of cost/performance.
It is not my fault there is an ill intention to misinterpret me...

Are you claiming that Nesta at 37 will solve our Bonucci problem when we will have to field 3-5-2 in the CL and championship?
Are you claiming that hailing him as a champion that will boost our team's performances should be applauded by our fans, again?
Because thats exactly is whats ahead of us... thats exactly whats has been happening in the past 7 years and thats exactly whats i am arguing against!

Cronios, I don't read your posts just so you know.
And I insist that you never admit you were wrong. Now let's end this here, I am not making a single post about this subject again.

I got it, Nesta still has NT cap while DP no longer. Right Cron? ;)

Remember when he called Borriello a fancy dribbler :howler:
Thats not what i said and you know it and above all, i was right, he cant score, even if his life depends on it.
Never in his carrier scored many goals.
IMO he is completely worthless, but scoring is def not his strength, i said the same thing about Amauri and try to tell me i was wrong...

Also do you deny the fact that our fans drooling over dribblers, even now half of them would favor a dribbler to a finisher.
Even now some ppl rate Borriello's skills to... ahem "hold the ball"?...
You ppl are trying too hard to defame and you always miss the point, just like now, you ignore the bulk of the arguments and try to strech and misinterpret the meaning of "new overrated toy" quote, completely ignoring the meaning of it and the actual content of my post...

And then use irrelevant parts, taken out of the context and twisted to put words in my mouth.
I dare anyone to posts valid counter arguments to my original post. I can explain in great detail why i used every word and how all this actually reflects the pattern of our post calciopoli transfer strategy.
Not my opinion, not an irrelevant, subjective opinion, not wishful thinking, but an assesment based on our late transfer history.

our managers are keep repeating about how proud they are to host as many of the NT players as possible.
And many times, we seem to favor players how have such caps, or are bound to have them and hold this fact as a valuable asset, regardless of their real value.
For a small Italian team, it should obvious mean smth, that they have managed to put hands on premioum material, but for a team like Juve signing Grosso, Motta and Iaquinta shouldnt.
Players who were proved to be Juve and Milan material got a call to the NT, we were setting the standards back then, now we are feeding by the left overs...

 @Osman

Seeing Nesta in a Juve shirt would be something alright, while we're at it we should see what Costacurta is up to these days?

Italian, free, overrated new toy, long time desirable target, zero competition from strong clubs, glorified by the Italian fans, carrying along a load of Ital NT caps.
Its impossible for Marotta to let this opportunity go.
He has done everything possible not to bring a foreigner for our defence, or make a proper investment.

Such as a move is a definition of his work.
He will sure find a way to convince our board to get him and they will order Conte to deal with it and make public comments, that we are glad to accept such a champion and give him play time like Borriello, no matter the performances...

I m just curious to see, how the fans are going to react after seeing us throwing away DP, to get a washed up, finished, Milan reject...
Have you even watched him play? He made Messi his bitch.

If he comes for free lile Pirlou and accepts to trade the bench with bonbon whenever needed, im all for it. He is class, and withbonucci there he will be ready for the inevitably injury.

Its a winwin

If he comes for free, with extremely high wages and stay on the injury table most of the time I only see win for him . We can take the risk provided the wage offered is not as what he is getting now.
