Well, in my opinion we need Matri. We just happen to disagree on that particular point. I agree that we should sell excess players we don't need to fund better ones, but in my opinion Gio and Quag should go. Definitely the latter.
:howler:

100% agree. Matri can actually be useful for this team moving forward, not so much the other two.

Giovinco, Quagliarella, De Ceglie, Motta and Ziegler are excess players that need to be moved on.

if matri was useful to juve's cause, he would not be sold. the managment sees this and the quag sale as an opportunity offload players to make room for anther signing.

as for giovinco, i will take the guy earning .750 a year to be 5th choice over the guy earning 2m and doing nothing. giovinco can only improve from here on. matri and quag will only become worse.

and people need to get over this deal. better players have been let go in the past to join rivals . guys like zlatan, inzaghi, davids..etc. man up and move on. but then again none of you deserve to be called men with the way you act

It's not like we're selling our batistuta to a rival team !

I like Matri too as a hard working player who has a decent goal scoring stat, But the guy is behind both Tevez, Llorente and perhaps Vucinic in the team. he's already 29 years old and perhaps this is our last chance to get a decent $ out of him.

Plus Napoli will "not" be our real Rivals this season in the league, Benitez will screw them up with his tactics.

Milan will obviously be the main rivals for obvious (refereeing) reasons, but Napoli somewhat strengthened their team this summer.

Wouldn't underestimate Napoli at all. Can either go one way or another especially start of the season where we've gotta hit the ground running ourselves especially with the opening fixtures we have to deal with. Where at times it takes a few games to get into the swing of things. Lets no forget that everyone else will be pumped up to beat us.

If you look at what we have for subs, We shouldn't sell him yet, at least not until we get rid of Giovinco and Quagliarella, in that order.

Matri is a below-average player who can be a decent sub every now and then, we never know what could happen regarding injuries in our strikers' department. Seeing as Lazy Mirko is always picking up those minor injuries and we don't know how long it'll take for Llorente to adapt, i would keep Matri, for now.

giovinco can only improve from here on.
You scare me sometimes.

juventus is not selling giovinco. people need to get this in their head already. he is not on the market, there habe been no buyers, and juventus will not sell after paying quite a bit for him. they will give him another season to prove his worth.

of course this will go over your head, and others, and we will hear few more posts about "hurr durr sell giovinco hurr durr"

and for the record, giovinco played 27 matches in seriie a + CL and scored 11 goals and 6 assists. not bad for a player who is to be 5th choice.

:agree:

A forward line with Giovinco, Vucinic, Llorente and Tevez is retarded. Why can't people see that..,
Why you said so?
