baggio, I'm surprised that you consider Quag more able to mobilize positions on the pitch than Matri, i.e. that he spreads the play out to the wing more often. That's trademark Dandy-stuff, some of what he does really well. I'm not saying Quag never does that, but Matri does it way more often.

Quag has a better first-touch than Matri, and he's a better finisher. But better team player? Better at opening up spaces for his teammates either via runs or passing? No sir.
J83, completely agree that Matri does it more often, spreading out the play. But that's also down to the fact that he is a classic CF, and his game is a little more limited skill wise, to carry or hold the ball. but I don't blame him for that, it's a very natural part of every poacher's game. And while I don't agree with calling Quag the better opportunist (because of the kind of goals he scores are not down to opportunity alone but skill and tehcnique,) i'd agree when you say he's the better finisher.
