While I agree with that, it does depend on how you look at it.
Since we have to assume that neither of them would be first choice next year, you're pretty much forced to look at the financial side of things. And selling Matri would get us a lot more money than selling Quag.
On the other hand we'd lose the superior, younger player. Guess it comes down to just how much playing time they're expected to get. If you're really counting on them (as in a real contribution, more than a few minutes every other week), you keep your best one. If not, you sell the one who gives you the biggest sum.

And for the 3 man-attack, we need 2 CFs and 4 SSs
Vucinic will be the left hand starter, with Giaccherini and Elia or EstiG as his sub. Need more competion? Get Giovinco back!
Right hand SSs will be two between Pepe, Matri and Quaq, the other one will be our sub CF and we need to focus at acquiring the best starter prolific CF we wan afford.
Thats should be our highest priority, wasting cash on Destros adds pretty much nothing, we have more than enough subs and Destro is not really an upgrade to Matri/Quaq.
If we waste time and cash to sign Destro, we compromise the CF hunt, in resources. As we do each and every year and in the end, we end up with a bunch of SSs and a Borriello class CF...
