Not a saviour by any means, but a very good striker compared to Iaquinta and Toni. Signing him on the same day of Amauri's departure makes it a very satisfying acquisition.

2.5 mil for the loan = 2.5 mil for Ariaudo, then an option to buy for 15.5 mil? Too much!

I am enjoying Martin's attitude today :tup:
I can't belieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeve how little enthusiasm there is about getting rid of a problem half the forum has been complaining about for a year (and the other half has been sick of hearing about). Finally that is over, and there's scarcely any reaction? :wth:

My bad, I thought that you are referring to bringing Juve down, I did not believe that you can get easily down by a new guy who just thinks that Matri will flop (I hope not and proves me wrong).
"Don't bring us down" meant "don't make us (the forum, not Juve) feel bad on this day of hope" :)

Just been watching some youtube of him. Seems to be a good poacher and able to use his head too. With him and Toni we might actually get to the end of all those crosses.

I feel optimistic about him:smile:

People need something to complain about.

Alessandro Matri signs for Juventus
Juventus Football Club S.p.A. announces that these agreements have been finalized with Cagliari Calcio S.p.A.:

temporary acquisition of the registration rights of the player Alessandro Matri. The consideration for the loan is € 2.5 million, to be paid during the current year. The agreement also includes the option right, to be exercised at the end of the 2010/2011 season, for the definitive acquisition of the football player by Juventus at a price of € 15.5 million, to be paid in three years;

termination in favour of Cagliari Calcio of the player sharing agreement (ex art. 102 bis N.O.I.F.) concerning the registration rights of the player Lorenzo Ariaudo. The sum for the termination has been set at € 2.5 million, to be paid by Cagliari in the current year; this operation generates a capital gain of about € 2.5 million on the 2010/2011 financial year.

yeah like Cassano was the main reason for pazzini to score and still he bagged a brace in his inter debut... and to your calculation about the costs of martinez & co equating to dzekos costs, we still would not have been able to buy him, because then we would not have gotten krasic

Martin. I believe that most of us here are very happy that we got rid of that problem and paying fat wages to that moron but I believe that most of the guys here are not happy with the transfer moves in general because of very very very obvious reasons

BTW, can you please advise the newcomer here how to insert smilies in my posts? Thanks in advance

Exactly, there won't be sighs when someone gets subbed out and Amauri steps in.
