Matri on Fiorentina radarBy Football Italia staff

Despite the frosty relationship between Juventus and Fiorentina, reports suggest that a deal for Alessandro Matri could be done.

The two clubs are historical rivals and things turned ugly over the summer after the Viola blamed Juve for destroying their proposed swoop for Dimitar Berbatov.

The Tuscan giants are still looking for a new forward and Matri could be one of the players they target in January.

Matri, after a goal packed start to life in Turin, has struggled in recent times and he is no longer assured of a place in the side.

The former Cagliari striker has only started two games in Serie A this season, scoring one goal in the process.

Yeah, let's help out Fiorentina. It's not like we don't like them or anything.

Selling them Matri isn't helping them out, but could begin the mending process of our relationship with the directors.

Jovetic.

no.

Matri needs to get rid of her, she's ruining him.
I don't think she is ruining him, it's his lack of skill that's ruining him.

But that's neither here nor there.

After all the bullshit coming from the rats they want our player? Only if we Get jovetic in june. If not they can just fuck off.

On the other hand it would be sweet if fiorentina got the 3. Cl spot ahead of inter. Matri would score alot of goals with lots of playing time, less competition and pressure.
