I expect I'll be laughed at, but I think Matri could well be the difference between playing in the CL next year or not.

I expect his goals and play would take Juve to the top four.

He would be a surprisingly good acquisition.
:agree: I said more or less the same a few months ago. Good player, surely if I could choose between him or Dzeko, the latter would be my first choice but he can surely help us gaining a cl spot. His rumoured price is too high for my likings but at this point I feel we're with our backs against the wall.

However, I don't think Caglari have any desire to sell him at this point.

Well I agree that he'd go a long way to helping us (I don't think our squad is as average as the rest of the forum appears to believe) , and in the current market he'd be a good option. But a player is either the worst player in the world or the best player in the world apparently.

Said in the start of this mercato he would be a good solution for the rest of the season, not persé top signing for the future, but for the remainder of the season. That was until we signed Toni...

Agreed. He would be a decent benchwarmer next season. Now we have Luca Toni

We better get some fullbacks who can give him some nice opportunities to score and not the usual long balls tactic.

We might as well get Cappello back, he was an expert at deploying those tactics but at least he got the job done most of the time.
