Pazzini is GOOD ENOUGH for Juve, not as prime top signing example, but generally as a striker he is good, he would be more useful then not (and is better then Borriello), give him chances and he will put them in. He wont be top player, and I totally get hoping for more, but at the same time, its laughable some people deem players either Amauri level or Dzeko kind of signing.

and what makes you so sure that neymar and benzema will be any different? as far as im concerned i'd rather keep quags than thrash out more money on players of unknown quantity, benzema's lack in work rate and commitment is well highlighted, whilst many here have only watched neymar on youtube doing a few step overs and they start jizzing their pants, personally im not convinced we should risk investing heavily in him.

Benzema is BETTER then Quag, and well well well worth taking the chance on if we ever get the opportunity. I have seen Neymar, and do you know what I think? More impressed of him then when I saw Pato at a young little teen in Brasil. That should say enough of wether or not its advisable to chance on him then Matri...

Hence, scouts are paid to search for talent and pinpoint those they see possess potential. Nobody knew how Zidane would turn out; heck, even some fans were against the signing of Nedved back in the day. When we bought Vieri, did we really think he would turn out as good as he did? What about Henry? Was he a risk not worth taking? Had we deployed him in the right position, he might have set all sorts of records at this club. How about Ibra and Trez? Were they not risks at the time of purchase? In essence, any deal is a risk, but in life you need to take calculated risks if you are to prosper. Constantly being cautious and opting for the easy way out gets you nowhere. We all know what Benzema is capable of, and if as Osman says, Neymar is even better than Pato at his age, then the sky is the limit.

say tell me who was against signing nedved? at the time he was at his peak at lazio, who didn't want him? i think you're generalising that part completely. Vieri was a bomber in the making, as for Henry we did deploy him in the right position, it was Wenger that converted him into a forward. Anyhow the risks moggi took to sign the likes of Trez and co paid off because he understood for the large part what the team needed and when you think that the investments he made were funded by the sale of players for large sums, which made the risk levels of the new players far lower than those of the 'higher end calibre' players that we're supposedly linked with. Now if you think that we sold henry for 10 mill and used that money to sign trez, that was clever business, same with nedved, he was signed using the money from the sale of Zidane and pippo, compare that to today, selling Diego for half the price we originally paid for him. Now if we had sold Diego for the same price and reinvested that money in someone of similar standards and class then i would have no problem with it, but the truth of the matter is we're picking numbers from the sky and talking about money we don't even have! Even if this supposed investment story is true, i'd hate to see 25 mill or more spent on someone like neymar.

apart from agreeing with everything else you mention, diego was sold because we had no summer budged.
Marotta managed to do what the board demanded : cut the wagebill and get new players while in the end going break even.

if he was clearly better then pato at that ago, he would be in europe allready, in barcelona or chelsea most likely.
Neymar is a not so physically strong player with nice dribbels... in brazil. and thats where it ends.
To play in a topteam you need more, neymar doesnt have it. players like Ganso and Piazon do

Yes Neymars physique isnt ideal, but he generally dominated the Brasilian league from quite young age, while Pato didnt have much an impact in similar age. Was bought quickly, but generally the impact Neymar has had on the league, and his performances, has been more promising. And there is a difference between Internacional and Santos, the latter arent quick to sell and generally hold out for big big payout (not that Pato was cheap, but generally sell their players cheaper). Ala Robinho to Real sum they are expecting for Neymar. He isnt still there due to lack of interest for him in Europe.

I gurantee you its cliche mark of someone who havent seen him, to say Neymar has nice dribbles and thats it (yes he has scored and created so much for Santos and already played for the NT, solely based on nice dribbles). Its actually laughable. You are dimissing a player you havent seen (I seen him enough, and mainly because I enjoy watching Ganso, even if Neymar is ridicolously talented and fun to watch), and at the same time mentionning Paizon, whom you havent seen, as more ideal target, its just all too funny.
