It's like they never learn. This team doesn't need anymore depth, its 3 man deep on every position. Diamanti will come, have the same type of career as the rest of the older player we bought from smaller teams and then become a problem when he's 32 and nobody wants him.

where conte plans to use this guy? :/

With Ibra and Nani/Sanchez talk, maybe he wants to go back to attacking 442? but then again, we have great central mids, so it doesn't make sense
Switch either to a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. The players that we are essentially being linked to fit this formation but that doesnt mean anything because alot of it could be the media. Id be all for the 4-2-3-1 and I would accept Diamanti if only we manage to sell players like Melo, Ziegler, Motta, Martinez,, etc and it doesnt have any effect on preventing us from improving our attackers

I personally think Diamanti would thrive under someone like Conte. He's a bit of an x factor player. But the only way this deal would and should go through, is if it isn't at the expense of a bigger, better and much more needed player in attack. Diamanti would offer us versatility to play off the leading player in attack in varying formations and in many ways do the kind of job Conte has expected of someone like a Gio. A good deal for under 8m but surely isnt going to win us anything if he's the only signing in attack.

We have more than enough mediocre players like Giaccherini, Padoin, Peluso.. We also have enough good players, what we need are players who will bring us to a higher level in term of strenght, goals & skills.. We should not invest money in players like Diamanti.. We have spended more than enough money at players like that..

Felipe Melo, Krasic, Martinez, Diego, Matri & Quagliarella (all 'good' players, but not for the level Juve) = +100 million.. Diamanti will be just a player like Diego or Quagliarella, nice to have but he will have just a little input on the game..

Instead of this shit we need to look forward, to young players (Suarez, Jovetic, Benzema, for example) or maybe older players with a high quality (Robben or Zlatan for example)..

In: Ansaldi/Digne, a back up for midfield/defence, top forward = Mercato closed

Muriel and Sanchez are hardly big names. Isco and Reus are promising young players, not established superstars. I'd be happy with those types of transfers. Hence, your argument about requiring a big name to appease me, is not entirely true ;)

As for our recent history, I agree that Secco committed some major blunders, but we need to move forward.

He is a bit too egomaniac for my likening.

But if we sell Giaccherini, I'd be all for Diamanti.

Instead of laughing like Robinho, explain your rofl??

Ansaldi is a strong player for a 433, a player who also can play on the right.. Good tackles, some good rushes and his crosses are better than anyone in our current squad.. I can also call Marcelo, Coentrao, Clichy or Kolarov but they are 2 expensive and earn a lot of money..
